In our November Lunchtime Lecture, Dr. Stephen Reese will reflect on the issues raised by his recent book by the same title. As polarized factions in society pull apart from economic dislocation, tribalism, and fear, and as strident attacks on the press make its survival more precarious, the need for an institutionally organized forum in civic life has become increasingly important. Populist ch...

I made my bed 😂
Wonder how those students lives have worked out, and how many make their beds in the morning…..
Please run for President 😊
2024 still the best speech ever 🎉🎉
If you want to change the world - change yourself first.❤
Thank you Mr President.
❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊❤
Who is watching in 2024❤
Not now boy
Yes... I agree!
Christopher Williams The generals speech was inspirational. I like how inspiring a generation can be so easy but we make it difficult by just not reaching out to the youth. He has good saying by starting off by making your bed task analogy how doing the little things in life, and then doing the big things in life but making your bed to a tee reminds me of the little details matter in work And furthermore when he talked about hell week and how they pushed threw it just by singing it or just taking your mind off of it by just pushing threw and using mind over matter.
Im doing a project over John S Chase in my History of Architecture class. I teared up watching this video. Horrible how he was treated when he clearly had so much talent. Glad to share his legacy further.
One of the world's greatest speeches
This is a true inspiration. I have to watch it every once in a while just to lift myself up and inspire me to move forward in the face of hard times. I make my bed every day before I leave my room in the morning. We all should live by this and the world would be a better place.
Admiral is surely a President material
still the best speech in 2024.
😊👍✨✨✨🕊️✨👍
Run for president please.
I have heard of all kind motivation speeches, David goggins with his fuck this fuck that. But this shit right here is quality. My go too speech during my depression episodes. I am not even American
Sir, Humbly (meekly) with Gratitude #ThankYou
This is what we do. Thanks to you boss.
The importance of the first one is something I will always appreciate because it’s so true. I was struggling with depression when I first found this speech, and whilst I won’t say it’s the single reason that I got better (because hard work, determination and discipline also got here) it helped me see everything differently. I started making my bed. Within a week, it became a habit, but it made me see how it affected my entire life. It made my mum happy, because she saw that I was doing better. It made my dad happy because he saw my mum was happy. It made everyone happy. And that made me happy, happy when I hadn’t been happy for a while. I began to enjoy life again, I started to take care of myself. I started to workout, to learn a new language and to work hard in school. And even when I got annoyed, when I failed, I came home to my made bed and my clean room. I still do it today. This is the kind of man I will be.
Great speech
18:51 Make your bed. Find someone to help you through life. Will power. Life is not fair everytime. Risk. Don't run from shark punch them. Be calm, gather your all power. Start singing when you're up to your neck in mud, Hope. Nevet Give up.
This video changed my life for the better.

Beautiful Museum, with fossil, and fossil casts. However, all information given by the people interviewed, and what is printed on the displays, is based on the unprovable theory of evolution. The millions of year theory was an invention of geologist Charles Lyell, who stated in one of his private journals, that he had a goal, to "rid the world of the science of Moses." Charles Darwin, a friend of Charles Lyell, adopted Lyell's millions of years concept into his "Origin of Species" book. Darwin, himself, was not a scientist, and had almost no training in science. The millions of years concept is designed to make evolution scientists writings seem more believable. There has been one hundred percent proven fraud by evolution scientists, like "Peking man, Piltdown man, and Nebraska man." Evolution scientists for decades stated that millions of year old fossils were completely fossilized. However in recent years, Paleontologists like Dr. Mary Schweitzer, found soft flexable tissue, and red blood cells in a T-Rex femur! Another Paleontologist found flexable fibers and red blood cells, in a Triceratops horn. These two fossils are obviously much younger, maybe only thousands of years old. So, enjoy the displays in the Texas Science and Natural history center, however don't believe what you read there. Why? The Museum presents the unprovable theory of evolution as fact, which is highly disputed by many other Phd scientists. Use critical thinking, research yourself. Science by definition is OBSERVABLE and can be tested and retested using our five senses. Evolution is not science at all. It is about unobserved, and unproven historical origins.
he even looks like he has woken up every day 6 AM and made a close record to marathon every day for at least 30+ years of he's life. He does not stutter, he does not search for words, he just read most of the words on a paper and mostly (80%) looks at the people around him while he's talking. A great sign of a leader, which is surprising considering he has been in battle for many times before he's promotions. Less than 0.0000001% of humanity can ever each a rank of admiral from such physical achievement through their life !
